I appear to have solved my wininit.exe and explorer virus infection, which seems related to the “ThinkPoint” virus. Initially: Browsing a file sharing site, I downloaded and opened a couple of torrent files there are legal torrents by the way! I think this is where the problem started, but I’m not 100% sure.
